The design process for an interior design project always moves progressively through 5 stages. Each stage of the process involves a set of documentation deliverables which represent key project milestones. Whether the project is for Retail, Hospitality, Workplace or a Residential, the 5 STAGE DESIGN PROCESS almost always applies. Our clients are invoiced at the completion of each project stage:
STAGE 1 - SCHEMATIC PLANNING & CONCEPT DESIGN
STAGE 2 - DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
STAGE 3 - PRICING DOCUMENTATION (AS REQUIRED TO GO TO TENDER / BE PRICED BY BUILDER)
STAGE 4 - CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION (AS REQUIRED TO ACHIEVE A BUILDING PERMIT)
STAGE 5 - DESIGN ADMINISTRATION

OUR FEE STRUCTURE
CoLAB's Fee Proposal is based upon the set of agreed deliverables, with fees invoiced upon the completion of each Stage. The Scope of Works provides a clear set of deliverables for each project, enabling our client's to check-off project progression and ensuring 100% transparency throughout the project process.
